Open Lifeguard positions at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta

The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (The MJCCA), a Top 100 Workplace in Metro Atlanta, is looking for responsible individuals who are currently American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First-Aid certified. 

•Flexible hours: hours vary from 5-25 or more hours per week

•American Red Cross certification classes available

 Qualifications:

 •Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First-Aid certification

•Must be responsible, timely and personable

•Previous experience preferred, but not required

•Wide range of availability preferred

Job Responsibilities 

•Monitor patrons and activity in pool and pool area

•Follow emergency action plan and procedures

•Determine chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit, and record readings

•Responsible for Opening and Closing Procedures

•Assist with pool cleaning

•Provide general information of pool schedule, events, and programs to members and guests

•Attend staff trainings

 We will reimburse the cost of the ARC Lifeguard Course after individuals have worked 50 hours.
