This position will start as on-site but will transition to a hybrid role after the initial training period. The office is located in Glen Mills, PA at 51 Lacrue Ave. Glen Mills, PA 19342.
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing assistance on the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, desktop applications, operating systems, tablets and smartphones to company employees. This role also performs computer set-up, installation, troubleshooting, services and upgrading of all enterprise issued devices and does user administration of corporate applications and systems.
Work responsibilities include:
  • Provides application support for existing applications in person or remotely to end-users.
  • Provisions, configures and deploys new computers, printers, phones and tablets; Installs necessary applications, sets configurations and does data migration.
  • Provides break / fix service for all corporate devices.
  • Performs administration duties of enterprise applications and tools.
  • Uses ticket system and completes tickets in timely manner.
  • Coordinates with hardware and software vendors to fix issues.
  • Works under minimal supervision.
  • May be required to provide on call support.
  • Provides after hours support as needed.
  • Travels to branch locations as needed.
Requirements:
Preferred job requirements:
  • 5 years experience with information technology, network systems, and related functions.
Minimum job requirements:
  • High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some college course work in information technology, computer sciences, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with pc builds, configuration, operating systems, printers, tablets, smart phones.
  • Knowledge of Epicor Eclipse, MITS Distributor Analytics, Tour de Force CRM, Avaya,
  • Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • High degree of personal ethics, customer service, and commitment to safety.
