MARCO'S FRANCHISING, LLC is Hiring a Field Operations Coach Near Toledo, OH

The Field Operations Coach is a key leader with the responsibility for driving the delivery of strategic training priorities to store management of company owned stores. This position will provide coaching and training activities focused on store management and supports the development of our store managers. Reporting to the Director of Company Ops, this role will be driving results through expert delivery, development and facilitation of management and leadership training. They will support the development of MP#3’s store management teams and leaders to accelerate store performance and effectiveness.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support store managers by planning and setting goals with continued focus on in-store problem solving/process improvements and standards
  • Deliver high-quality coaching through operational focus, such as the discipline of managing food and labor cost, assisting with reviewing and creating action plans based on results of the store P&L with the CBL, employee recruiting and retention, scheduling, etc.
  • Conduct effective and consistent visits using period and weekly calendars and provide verbal and written feedback to maintain set expectations of the store management team
  • Support MP#3 by encouraging the management teams to improve performance and capability through continuously upgrading and developing high level talent across all levels
  • Take accountability in assisting with developing a strong bench within their designation region to ensure proper training and development is received prior to promotions within the brand
  • Ensure training is completed and executed through MUO in the stores
  • Provide “hands-on” training and coaching to maintain a work environment that guarantees and promotes food & team safety, a culture of empowerment and correct operational procedures
  • Report and analyze outcomes from training/coaching to above store leaders
  • Assist with the implementation and execution of store management onboarding, sales/operations training, product training, talent development and growth initiative programs
  • Build strong relationships and partner collaboratively with Directors, Corporate Business Leaders and Talent Management to drive learning initiatives in the stores.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
  • College or University Degree in a business-related field
  • Successful completion of required training within MUO Training
  • Completed or will be able to complete Introduction to Operational Excellence (IOE) trainings
  • MULE Certified
  • Culture Champion Certified
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Operational management experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry
  • Travel up to 60% - 80%
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching, and development of managerial employees
Physical Requirement(s):
  • Must be able to lift, and carry, at least 50 pounds (4-6 times per month)
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours at a stretch, 12-15 times per month)
  • Able to safely and legally operate the Dough Mixer
  • Able to safely and legally operate the Dough Stretcher
  • Able to safely and legally operate all other standard, or specialized (to include in testing or development) Marco’s Pizza store equipment

  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, have a heightened time awareness along with an extreme focus on servicing the guest while coaching the store managers.
  • Strong business acumen with advanced financial management skills and understanding of departmental budgets and fiscal responsibilities
