Cedar Valley Forest is seeking a skilled hands on Facilities Manager to handle the maintenance and operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, ability to prioritize their tasks, landscape experience and a strong team player mentality.
Duties included but not limited to:
Mowing & trimming our 40 acre property in a way that doesn't disrupt wedding operations
Event setup; bringing in/taking out tables, chairs, wedding decor, furniture, cleaning the floors, tables, bathrooms, kitchen, bar areas. Cottage must also be cleaned and ready for th next day. Usually 2-3 of these setups a weekend. For 2024, all events must be setup for by 8am, 2025 and beyond its 12pm noon.
Lanscaping: trimming the pond, filling holes and overseeding, weed spraying, mulch bed care, hedge trimming
Maintain the ceremony space; cleaning outdoor chairs, blowing off the patio area to clear off leaves, branches, walnuts, etc. Keep the mulch path leading up the ceremony looking fresh.
Grading parking lot to keep the asphalt level and even
General maintenance; window cleaning, paint touch ups, light bulb changes, clogged toilets, leaking faucets, change filters, repair tables etc
Wasp Treatments of the ceremony chairs, patio furniture and around the buildings.
