Growing South Tampa Law firm seeks experienced collectors for our Retail & Commercial litigation practices.

Outbound third-party collection experience required; General computer skills necessary. Bi-lingual is a plus. Salary plus bonus; Bonus eligible after 90 day training,

Responsibilities include:

• Recover outstanding third-party retail and or commercial debts in assigned queue from various clients.
• Work independently on the phone, handling in- and out-bound calls to / from consumers or businesses, their attorneys, debt companies and / or title companies
• Negotiate settlements, payment plans and /or secure payments of outstanding debts
• Document communications accurately and timely in a database system and handle all follow up
• Follow established procedures to handle questions or complaints from debtors

Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, experience handling questions, complaints, and overcoming stall tactics, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Must be able to follow procedures and industry regulations, and feel comfortable working independently on the phone while contributing to the team.

Starting salary based on experience; does not include additional monthly bonus;

All employees must undergo training

All potential hires must also pass a complete background investigation and drug screening prior to hire.
