JOB TITLE: CUSTODIAL SUPERVISOR

NORMAL WORKING HOURS: Flexible/Daily

REPORTS TO: Industries Coordinator

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

1. Pick up workers from their home and transport them to work site.

2. Sign in and assist the worker with signing in as well.

3. Fill in the payroll sheet

4. Check the bathrooms to ensure cleanliness; clean as needed

5. Assist the worker with mowing, restrooms, shoveling, plowing, trash, and other duties needed completed.

6. Spot check all areas to ensure worker duties are being completed.

7. Ensure all work is completed during the last quarter of shift.

8. Check to make sure all facility structures are locked at the end of the shift.

9. Fill out a quality control sheet to ensure balance of work is completed between shifts.

10. Record notes of extra duties completed for the shift.

11. Ensure all areas are orderly and ready for the following work shift.

12. Ensure the mop water for that day has been dumped and the mop and other equipment go back to its original location.

13. Sign out and ensure workers have signed out for the day.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

1. Valid Ohio Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and state minimum automobile insurance

2. Successful completion of all requested background checks, drug screens, health physical, etc.

3. Must be able to move freely and quickly throughout the Rest Area; move easily across a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces; watch and listen to the activities of clients and staff; communicate effectively with people; bend and lift; and lift up to 50 pounds.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.

2. Experience preferred directly relevant to the provision of services to adults with DD.

3. Must be able to meet training requirements set by MII.

POST HIRE REQUIRED TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATION, AND LICENSURE:

1. First Aid/CPR

3. Maintain Valid Driver’s License

1. Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO

2. Maintains confidentiality.

3. Demonstrates and maintains regular and reliable attendance.

4. Provides accurate and timely records as required by the position.

5. Attends meetings as required.

6. Promotes interpersonal sensitivity (objective awareness to others, tactful interaction)
