Data and Instructional CoordinatorThe Data and Instructional Coordinator will work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and staff to analyze student data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance student performance. The coordinator will play a crucial role in implementing data-driven instruction and interventions, ensuring that all students have the support they need to succeed academically.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Interpretation:Collect, analyze, and interpret various data sources, including standardized test scores, formative assessments, and other student performance metrics.Identify trends, gaps, and areas of need to inform instructional practices and intervention strategies.Intervention Strategy Development:Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.Monitor the effectiveness of intervention strategies and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal student outcomes.Professional Development:Provide ongoing training and support to teachers on data analysis, interpretation, and the use of data to inform instruction.Lead professional development sessions focused on best practices for data-driven instruction and intervention.Develops professional development plans to address targeted areasCollaboration and Communication:Work closely with school leadership, teachers, and support staff to create a cohesive approach to student intervention.Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and administrators.Conducts instructional planning conferences with teachers based on student progress data, assists in developing instructional strategies based on dataProgram Implementation and Management:Oversee the implementation of school-wide intervention programs and initiatives.Ensure alignment of intervention strategies with school goals and state educational standards.Serves on committees and works on projects related to instructional practices Continuous Improvement:Stay current with the latest research and best practices in data-driven instruction and intervention.Continuously evaluate the impact of instructional and intervention strategies and make data-informed adjustments as needed.Qualifications:Masters Degree PreferredMinimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with a demonstrated ability to improve student outcomes through data-driven instruction.Appropriate DESE licensure (secondary level)Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in providing professional development and coaching to educators.Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, educational data platforms).
