Private Voice Teacher

Marble Music Studios is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic voice teacher to join our music faculty for our upcoming 2024-2025 Season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weekly Private Voice Lessons:Teach weekly private lessons (30, 45 or 60 minute lessons) according to our 42 week calendar starting June 2024.
• Recital Preparation: Prepare students for studio recitals and act as a recital host for at least one option recital plus studio-wide spring recitals
• Communications: Demonstrate professional and effective communication via email and GroupMe.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must be excited to work with students of all ages and levels (grades 5th and up) and have experience with teaching through vocal changes
• Commit to student rapport and growth throughout the entire 42 week season.
• Foster a positive learning environment for every student
• Develop innovative lesson plans including motivational charts, music theory/aural skills and repertoire selection
• Provide excellent musical instruction and modeling during lessons
• Studio management, including prompt communication and completion of various student forms throughout the season (intro lessons, recitals, etc).
• Share studio announcements with students and their families
• Option to perform in annual faculty recitals

Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in music performance, education or equivalent musical teaching experience
• At least one year of experience teaching private music lessons or group lessons
• Strong record of working collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:

• W-2 Employee Status
• Hourly rate range $25-30
