Description

Responsible for cleaning assigned areas in food manufacturing which includes processing and warehouse areas. Will also include the main office, company store, restrooms, and any other area that requires sanitation.

Requirements

· Sweep, mop, and clean all floor surfaces on a regularly scheduled basis. Some floors require using a floor scrubber.

· Full 3-step clean on assigned processing equipment following good manufacturing processes.

· Wash all plant equipment, floors and walls. Apply chemicals for cleaning, degreasing, and sanitizing using sprayers and hoses.

· Clean drains and sewers in the production area by sweeping floors and removing debris. Cover sensitive equipment with plastic for protection.

· Handle equipment and chemicals according to government, MSDS, Company Safety Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.

· Operate the floor scrubber

· Clean and sanitize all doors and common areas.

· Empty trash from all general common areas.

· Clean the outside of the main entrance as required.

· Use various chemicals for general cleaning.

· Other duties as assigned
