Job Description

NOW HIRING IMMEDIATELY for Mold Technician in Gardner, MA.

Shifts Available :

1St Shift : 6 : 30 am- 3 : 00 pm

2nd Shift : 2 : 30 pm-11 : 00 pm

3rd Shift : 10 : 30 pm-7 : 00 am

All shifts are subject to additional hours as needed*

Pay Range : $$

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; plus 2 years of manufacturing experience, or a similar combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to work under pressure with time-sensitive matters and respond quickly to get machinery back to working condition.
• Knowledge of injection molding machines and basic processing.
• Basic computer skills such as Word, Outlook, and knowledge of ERP Software.
• Ability to effectively communicate using the basic English language.
• Must have attention to detail and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.

Duties :

• Monitor molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure operating properly.
• Troubleshoot problems by diagnosing the cause, making minor repairs, and cleaning mold and / or platens as necessary to prevent quality issues.
• Adjust controls and / or machine settings as required to maintain optimum operation and quality of parts.
• Perform machine start-up and shut-down as needed to meet the production schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as scheduled or required.
• Utilize correct measures to return machines and equipment to their manufacturing operational condition within a reasonable amount of time, including being able to troubleshoot and repair from OEM schematics.
• Prepare and submit work orders for the Maintenance department to address more major issues or problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
