Reports To: Plant Manager

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

 Responsible for overall supervision and schedules of decorating technicians

o Complete timely evaluations and disciplinary actions as required by company policy

o Responsible for training, instructing and motivating employees on the shift in the proper production procedures to maximize production and quality and minimize environmental impacts. Develops a working team.

o Reports all personnel problems to the Human Resource Dept.

 Works with Production Manager ensuring that all molded part requirements are meet on time.

o Responsible for meeting quality and production expectations.

 Maintains a safe environment while supporting company safety and environmental programs.

o Knows where to find accident investigation, injury reporting and emergency incident reports.

 Reports problems with equipment to Maintenance Supervisor verbally and by written work order

o Monitors and communicates progress of emergency or unscheduled down-time repair

 Responsible for set-up, operation and maintenance on various machines

 Meets regularly with plant manager and management team

 Must be forklift certified and conduct training of Thermital employees. Turn in forklift test to Safety Director.

 Required to be an active member of the Safety team, conduct monthly safety audits and participate in monthly safety team meetings.

 Responsible for inventory control and variance reporting. Performs cycle counts each month and reconciles in IQMS.

 Responsible for monthly fire extinguisher, eye wash & spill kit inspections.

 Knows and understands Quality Policy and objectives.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

 Schedules raw material requirements via IQMS purchasing system to ensure on time delivery of finished goods.

 Proven leadership and communication skills

 Ability to see the “big picture” to align the vision of the department with that of the plant manager/company to ensure the continued growth and success of the department, plant, and company

 Develop team members to transition to more responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
