Summer Program Special Education Teacher-

Middle School

Qualifications:

• Special education certificate for elementary and/or middle school grades
• Present the strongest qualifications
• Possess excitement & energy towards student learning
• Positive team member/collaborator who enjoys working with all

Responsibilities:

• Plan for specifically designed instruction for students who qualify for Extended School Year to continue to work on IEP goals. This will be based on individual needs in order for students to demonstrate learning and show proficiency in instructional areas.
• Track assessments for students
• Supervise students during instruction and transition times

Hours for ESY:

• Program will be held at the Maquoketa Middle School
• 3 hours per day. Approximate hours will be 8:30 am - 11:30 am
• Monday through Thursday beginning June 3rd - June 27th
• One paid hour of prep time each week (4 hours total)

Rate of Pay: $30 per hour
