Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review job costing and profit margins with production and office employees.
• Investigate various differences from standard costs including material and labor variances.
• Work with machinists, leads, and supervisors to understand the reasons for variances.
• Update data within the ERP system as necessary.
• Report findings at the daily meetings
• Additional departmental duties as needed.
• Analyze and monitor materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accurate and timely cost allocation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, reliable, and persistent.
• Ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment and is familiar with machining, job routers, and job costing.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, spreadsheets, and financial software.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work with tight deadlines.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• ·Moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds in all directions
• ·Positions self to install equipment, including various types of office furniture
• ·Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
• ·Must be able to adhere to process protocol
• ·Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner
• ·Communicating with others to exchange information
• ·Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
