St Albans Town Education Center is looking for a dynamic Math & Science teacher for grades 7 through 8. A Math / Science teacher creates grade appropriate programs and a positive, well-managed, class environment that motivates pupils to develop skills, knowledge and attitudes, according to each pupil's ability, in order to develop a solid foundation for continued learning. Uses blended and experiential learning to engage students in science. Establishes effective relationships with students, parents, staff and community members to enhance learning opportunities.Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Arts degree.
Advanced academic study in science and/or middle level education preferred.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Vermont Teaching License in grades science (3-4). Strong preference for candidates with both science and middle grades math (7/8) certification.
