Maple Leaf Farms is Hiring a Hatchery Role Near Burlington, WI
Schedule:
Your work schedule will start 5:30am to finish with each shift lasting 8 to 9 hours on average. In addition, you will be on a rotating schedule to work 4 to 5 hours on either Saturday or Sunday.Compensation:
$18.50/hr
Working within the Kansasville Hatchery/Farm - our associates are responsible for (but not limited to):
- Places eggs in incubator trays
- Transfers trays from incubator to hatchery and removes paper wads from between eggs to make room for hatching.
- Transfers hatched ducklings from trays to boxes and counts out prescribed number of ducklings to each box section.
- Supplies baby ducks to other workers for sexing, grading, and inspections.
- Spend 20% of the workday sanitizing stations for the following work day
- Taking caring care of the mother ducks and make sure they are feed and watered
- Cleaning habitats for Mother ducks

Successful Candidates should:
- Be at their current job for 6 months for longer
- Have a solid and verifiable work history (little or no gaps in employment)
- Lift 35-50lbs
- Have a High School diploma or GED
- Comfortable working in the open-elements
- Be punctual and self - disciplined
