ObjectiveThe primary objective of the Inventory Supervisor is to maintain adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands while minimizing excess supply, through the use of the ERP system.Roles and Responsibilities:· Manage the performance, coach, and review supply chain team members performance of company policies and procedures.· Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.· Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.· Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.· Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; trouble shoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.· Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.· Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders, collect and analyse data to determine appropriate order quantities, process orders for shipment.· Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.· Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions.· Prepare, generate and file financial inventory reports; review reports weekly with management.· Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as neededRole Requirements:Education· High School diploma – bachelor’s degree preferred· Lean Six Sigma Certification preferredExperience and Knowledge· Minimum of 1year, 3 years preferred of related experience in retail, wholesale, warehousing, or logistics supervisor position· Proficient with computers and other standard office technology· Minimum 2 years experience with SAP· Fluent knowledge of ERP replenishment for 1000 SKUs· Knows ABC classification methods· Experience with S&OP process· Superior organizational and communication skillsWork Environment:· The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
