Manufacturing Concepts is Hiring a Soldering Technician Near Cary, NC

Responsibilities:

  • Perform soldering tasks with precision and attention to detail, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Assemble, modify, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to schematics and technical drawings.
  • Utilize wiring harness creation skills to assemble and install electrical components accurately.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to soldering, PCB assembly, and wiring harnesses.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and efficiency in production processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
  • Document work processes, procedures, and any modifications made during assembly and soldering tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Soldering Technician, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in soldering techniques, including surface-mount and through-hole soldering.
  • Strong understanding of PCB assembly processes, components, and soldering materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience in creating and assembling wiring harnesses for electronic systems.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in soldering techniques and PCB assembly.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and tools.
  • Experience working with CAD software for schematic design and layout.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electronics manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
