Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented ITAR Compliance Manager IV to join our team in Herndon, VA.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• The ITAR Compliance Manager IV is an SME in all areas of compliance with State Department regulations governing the manufacture, export, and temporary import of defense articles and services.
• They consult on the management of international supply and export orders.
• They advise on the flagging and tracking of ITAR items in shipping paperwork.
• They ensure that tools and training materials for operational processes for logistics and export activities are updated and compliant.
• They advise on license applications, and export filings carriers.
• The ITAR Compliance Manager IV is an SME role with comprehensive experience with State Department-mandated ITAR controls and processes.
• The ITAR Compliance Manager IV supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in related discipline and 7 years of position specific relevant experience (candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit)
• High School Diploma 16 years of experience will also be considered.

Desired Qualifications

• 12 years of position-specific relevant experience

Clearance Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
