Our client, a leading medical device company, is seeking an R&D Engineer II to join their growing team. As an R&D Engineer II, you will be you will play a crucial role in developing innovative product accessories for a cutting-edge valve replacement device. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for innovation in the medical field.

Pay Range: $ 41-46/hr
What's the Job?

• Collaborate on the design and development of a new product accessory for a valve replacement device.
• Analyze and report on test data to establish performance standards for new products.
• Independently plan and schedule your work to meet project deadlines.
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate materials and processes.
• Troubleshoot design, material, and process problems related to new products.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings.
• Invent and develop concepts for new products and processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including quality, manufacturing, and regulatory.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering preferred) with a science background.
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
• Medical device and process validation experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design software.
• Analytical with strong Microsoft Office skills and Minitab experience.
• Windchill experience preferred.
• Understanding of Thermoplastics and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) a plus.
