Manhattan StrategyGroup(MSG), a social sciences consulting firmin Bethesda, MD,is offering an internship for the summer of 2023. The intern will work with a project team supporting the Credit Enhancement for Charter School Facilities Program and other grant programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education's Charter School Programs. The intern will assemble, clean, and analyze annual program data reported by grantees to produce detailed and summary findings on program results and to assist in the development of an improved data collection process. The intern may work on more than one project as their time permits.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a degree program in public policy, public administration, education, economics, finance, or another social science discipline (master's degree program preferred)
• 3 years undergraduate (going into Senior year) in a field related to public policy, public administration, education, economics, finance, or another social science discipline.
• Available to work for a minimum of 250 business hours between April and August 2023.
• Excellent quantitative analysis skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Proficiency in Excel required; proficiency in SQL or Drupal preferred.
• Able to work successfully in a team and fast-paced environment.
• Able to work remotely.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
