Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our team. As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into technical specifications and ensuring the accuracy and quality of garment construction. Your expertise in product management, Adobe Illustrator, and garment construction will be essential. The person in this role will work collaboratively with pattern makers, designers, and production in the development of technical designs of coverups and swimwear.

Minimum Requirements:
· 4 years’ experience in apparel product development and/or apparel technical design and construction or a combination of experience with education in fashion design.
· Knowledge of garment construction, textile materials, basic fabric properties and patternmaking
· Experience with any PLM system.
· Must have strong experience with Adobe Illustrator.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication.
· Proficient with MS Office applications (strong Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Knowledge of garment fit.
· Experience communicating with domestic and offshore vendors and manufacturers.
· Exceptional analytical and time-management skills.
· Ability to work in a collaborative work environment.
· Driven and results oriented.
· Extreme attention to details.
. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, sit for prolonged periods of time and walk, and stand occasionally. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
