Turf Valley Resort is looking for a full-time or part-time Maintenance Mechanic/Technician. This individual will perform various repairs, preventative maintenance and other duties. This individual must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

Must be familiar with, and own basic hand tools. Background in Auto repair, basic plumbing, minor electrical or any type of mechanical repairs helpful. Will need some weekend availability.

• Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped

Other Duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of experience and demonstrated knowledge in maintenance
• Must have some experience with Plumbing and/or Basic Electricity
• Automobile Mechanic experience will be considered
• HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
• Must have your own hand tools
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to perform physical activities including: walking, bending, lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, operating motorized vehicles, etc
• Must be able to stand and/or walk 6 to 8 hours per day
• Must be able to pass background check
• Weekend availability

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent desired
• Basic computer skills
• Trade school is a plus
