Position: Service Operator (Offshore)
Location: Offshore Assignments
Duration: Approximately 5 months
About the Role:
As a Service Operator for our offshore operations, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our service lines under direct supervision. This position involves a hands-on approach to equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and environmental consciousness. Ideal candidates are those with prior offshore experience who are ready to contribute to our team's success and uphold the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rigging up and down of multiple service line equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety meetings to promote a secure working environment.
Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service, assisting in job execution.
Maintain cleanliness, conduct equipment repairs, and prepare tools for subsequent operations.
Conduct pre/post job equipment inspections and safe crane and rigging operations.
Operate high-pressure fluid pumps, coil tubing support equipment, and perform hydrostatic testing on BOPE and reels.
Mentor and train Operator Assistants, promoting skill development and team competency.
Monitor well control parameters and calculations to ensure job success.
Commit to preventative maintenance routines for all equipment.
Advocate for safety awareness, environmental care, and participate actively in quality improvement processes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education.
At least 6 months of relevant offshore experience.
Valid licensure for commercial vehicle operation (as required).
Completion of essential math, red book, and Coil Tubing I training.
Proficient interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Basic skills in reading comprehension, writing, and computer usage.
Certifications (Required before start):
BOSIET with CA-EBS
TWIC
SafeGulf or Rig Pass
Schedule:
13 hours per day while offshore, 8 hours per day in shop. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Additional Information:
This is a field role, specifically for offshore operations.
The end client for this assignment is LLOG.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this role.
This is not a Government Contract role under the Davis Bacon Act.
