Shipping and Receiving Clerk

A thriving Cuyahoga Falls manufacturing company has an opening for Shipping Clerk. You will be working with metals and waxes.

Payrate : $18.00

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Shipping Department as an Associate. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the efficient handling, packaging, and shipment of goods.

The ideal candidate should be fluent in English (reading and writing), possess good penmanship, and have basic math skills.

Experience operating a tow motor (forklift) is beneficial for this position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure accurate and timely packaging, labeling, and shipment of products.
• Verify shipment contents against invoices or orders to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels according to company procedures.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely, including possibly using a tow motor for moving materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping area.
• Assist in inventory management by counting and recording stock levels.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding shipping activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements :

• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Prior experience with tow motor operation is a plus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical capability to lift and move packages (up to a certain weight limit).
