Join our dynamic team as a Shipping Specialist! Responsible for accurate packaging and shipping of orders according to customer requirements, as well as efficient management of inbound shipments. Your role includes Operating a forklift, reading pick slips, completing orders, creating shipping documents, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand part numbers and locations in Oracle ERP.
- Process paperwork promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Shipping Supervisor and Management on assigned tasks.
- Ensure accuracy in moving products within Oracle ERP.
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalency.
- Valid Drivers license with no more than 2 points and no DUI’s in 7 years
- Forklift operation experience is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office applications and Oracle.
- Familiarity with multiple parcel shipping software’s.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Professional demeanor and good judgment for routine business decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of inventory management software.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- On-site position involving both office and warehouse settings.
- Ability to occasionally lift 70 lbs. and repetitively lift 1 to 25 lbs.
- Self-motivated to organize and strategize inventory processes.
- Capacity to handle physical demands and mental focus in a dynamic work environment.
