**Job Title: Quality Coordinator/Manager**
**Location:** Apple Creek, OH
**Pay Range:** $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
**Hours:** 1st shift 7am - 3pm
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a Quality Coordinator/Manager to join our team in the Apple Creek area. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality control and assurance of our processes, materials, and products. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for managing calibration systems, conducting various studies, preparing documentation for PPAP submissions, and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage calibration systems, including establishing requirements, maintaining NIST traceability, and coordinating outside calibration services.
- Conduct data analysis for gage R&R studies and process capability studies.
- Write and maintain the Lab Manual and supporting instructions.
- Prepare documentation for PPAP submissions and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective resolutions.
- Prepare reports and present data to management and customers.
- Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance standards.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of related experience.
- Automotive industry experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
- Experience with PPAP submissions and familiarity with quality standards (IATF16949 and IS014001).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Certification as a Quality Engineer is preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
**Physical Demands:**
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
**Work Environment:**
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
