Job Title : Maintenance Tech

Job Description : We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Apartment Building Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a crucial member of our maintenance staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of our apartment buildings, contributing to a positive living experience for our residents.

Responsibilities :

1.Routine Maintenance :

• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various building systems to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and property management in a timely manner.

2.Repairs :

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems as needed.
• Address and resolve issues such as leaks, faulty wiring, and malfunctioning appliances.
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.

3.Groundskeeping :

• Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the property grounds.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks, including lawn care, snow removal, and exterior maintenance.

4.Appliance Maintenance :

• Inspect, repair, and maintain appliances within individual apartments.
• Coordinate with vendors for major appliance repairs or replacements.

5.Safety and Compliance :

• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes during all maintenance activities.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and completed tasks.

6.Emergency Response :

• Be available for on-call duty to address after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Respond promptly to urgent situations such as floods or power outages.

7.Communication :

• Maintain open communication with residents and property management regarding maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors as necessary to facilitate repairs.

Work Schedule and Compensation :

Full-time position with a

Pay rate - based on exp

Qualifications and Requirements :

Preventive maintenance, Troubleshooting and Diagnostics, Routine Inspections and Monitoring, Emergency Repairs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and / or electronic systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work.

HVAC knowledge.
