Responsibilities :
- Repairing machines or systems using the proper tools.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining maintenance requirements.
- Identifying causes of operating errors and taking appropriate action.
- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure machines are working properly.
Key Responsibilities and Duties :
- Service and repair of production process equipment, building infrastructure, utilities, property, and grounds.
- Continuously improving operations and work processes to provide quality service.
- Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment.
- Performing safety-related inspections and responding to maintenance concerns.
- Recording maintenance issues and using judgment related to equipment stoppage.
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
Skills and Attributes :
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work any shift and be on call when scheduled.
- Understanding of basic metric mathematics and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work instructions and drawings.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to fabricate and troubleshoot basic PLC.
- Experience in forklift repair is a plus.
Desired Qualifications :
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- High School diploma or equivalent; trade or technical certification preferred.
