SUMMARY

Manatt’s Marketing Coordinator is a creative, self-driven, and organized individual who provides a range of administrative and creative services to the Marketing Director. Responsibilities include assisting in the design, creation, and execution of content, marketing collateral, company branding, product branding, employee communications, brand/logo consistency, website management, and event planning. The Marketing Coordinator will model Manatt’s Values while helping the company and the entire Manatt’s Family of Businesses better understand and execute our shared Purpose, Values, and Vision.

The Marketing Coordinator role is a collaborative one, where you will model Manatt’s core values while helping the business understand and execute a shared vision and purpose. This position will require you to collaborate with multiple departments, vendors, and suppliers, leading internal and customer-focused marketing strategies that produce measurable results. Your contribution will be integral to our collective success.

  • Assists in the creation of employee communications, including Manatt’s Mirror and The Mix, in addition to other internal and external communication.
  • Leads in the planning and execution of special events, training, meetings, and company gatherings.
  • Assists and supports other staff members, including clerical, technical, and reception duties as needed and available.

EXCELLENCE

  • Translates concepts into high-quality visual content that engages with viewers and audiences.
  • Demonstrates time management effectiveness by meeting with subject matter experts/stakeholders to determine project scope and deliverables.
  • Ensures he/she is using his/her supervisor’s and management’s time appropriately.
  • Assists in the planning, implementation, and facilitation of a strategic marketing plan reflective of Manatt’s core values.
  • Assists with the design, creation, and launch of promotional, marketing, training, and support collateral, including both print and digital.
  • Maintains and manages data of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for marketing analytics.
  • Assists with content creation for all social media platforms and websites for multiple brands.
  • Assists with marketing needs of the Manatt’s Family of Businesses under the direction of the Marketing Director.
  • Designs, orders, and manages an online store for company clothing and apparel.
  • Assists in implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns.
  • Assists with registration, accommodation, and travel, including tradeshows, association events conventions, and other industry and company-related issues.
  • Develop, manage, and control event budget, including negotiation of contracts.
  • Manage event vendor relationships.

 QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

  • Technical marketing skills and event management experience.
  • Relevant industry and product knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of search engines, website design, and web programming.
  • Digital marketing and graphic design skills.
  • Ability to collaborate on long-term projects.
  • Construction industry-related experience is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principles

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design, event marketing, or related field required.
  • 2-3 years experience in a marketing environment, preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in event marketing or planning, graphic design, or multi-media design, preferred.

  • This position is based in Brooklyn, IA, Manatt’s Corporate Headquarters.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to make regular trips to onsite locations, active jobsites, and various operating locations as needed. The employee must be willing to travel - approximately 25%.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to accommodate events that may involve nights and weekends.
  • Primary working location will be in an office environment with ongoing low-volume noise.
  • Majority of office time spent on a computer system.
  • Majority Sitting/standing at workstation or desk for up to the entire scheduled workday.
