Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Essential Functions:

Assist with the planning, execution, and coordination of the departments analytical and operational functions.
Conduct research, gather and analyze data to identify needs on a wide array of program policies.
Offer recommendations based on analysis of trends to formulate and refine program guidance and procedures aimed at boosting performance.
Provide informed advice supporting both long-term and short-term planning efforts.
Collaborate extensively with managers to devise resource strategies for presentations and briefings.
Foster and maintain partnerships with special interest groups relevant to the county’s goals.
Represent the county at various conferences and meetings with federal, state, and local government entities, as well as with representatives from business, industry, and private organizations.Monitor the Board of County Commissioners process and prepare department managers for Board of County Commissioner presentations.
Engage in special projects, task force assignments, and regional programs as needed.
Associate degree in business administration, business analytics, public administration, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of business analyst work experience.
Valid driver's license required, with valid Florida's driver's license within 30 days of hire.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Fundamental knowledge of local government programs and functions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic project management capabilities, with a focus on effective organization and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative working relationships.
Capacity to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
