Manasota Movers is now hiring!

• Candidate must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, and paid job shadowing.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license required to be a driver (non-CDL)

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications and notes prior to arriving onsite
• Contact customer with estimated time of arrival.
• Contact home office with job start time.
• Be friendly, kind, and make a great first impression. Smile and let the customer know what to expect
• Complete a walk-through of the area. Ask the client if there are any special items needing to be extra protected.
• Safely protect floors, doors, and walls where needed.
• Professionally pad, pack, shrink, and protect client’s belongings.
• Safely operate two and four-wheel dollies, carts, and boards.
• Ability to have open communication with all team members.
• Periodically check in with the office
• Truck cleanliness (cab and box)
• Periodic office furniture build, pad, shrink, load and transport. Offloading and staging items for installation.
• Set of various tools – drills, screw drivers, pliers, drill bits, etc.
• Office warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Inventory moving supplies

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• 100% drug free
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude and demeanor
• Clean and maintained appearance
• Ability and stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
• Good hand-eye coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
