Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn, have integrity, follow policy and procedure, and adhere to HIPPA guidelines. Must be CPR certified and enroll in the A-STEP Program.
Responsibilities:
-Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards
- Perform diagnostic polysomnogram
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support medical procedures
- Collaborate with the sleep center team to provide patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedures
- Gather and analyze patient information
- Prepare and calibrate equipment required for appropriate testing
-Maintain CPR certification
Qualifications:
-High School Graduate or GED
- Proven experience or education in sleep medicine, or related fields
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a healthcare team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
- Knowledge of sleep medicine practices and procedures
- Familiarity with conducting diagnostic evaluations in a healthcare setting
