What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the management of food services, which includes the cafeteria and special center functions in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the administrative and food service activities of the department.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting food services.
- Plan the menu and provide appetizing, nutritious and realistically portioned meals in a clean, comfortable environment.
- Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
- Conduct inspections of food service areas.
- Ensure quality of production and food purchase requirements; maintain cost control to stay within budget limitations; assist in inventory control.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree and two (2)-year related experience or technical training and six (6) years related experience required, one should be supervisory.
- Valid food handler's permit required in the state of work.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
