A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

  • Troubleshoot issues from branches and ICM (scheduling, oasis, workflow, episode management, billing, msps, workers, pointcare, attachments, CS, TIF/ROC/DC issues, delete episodes, etc) and send to support if needed.
  • Set up and update Client Related tasks, coordination notes, administrative tasks and corresponding process documents
  • Update electronic consents to match paper consents
  • Develop and update HCHB job processes for all office positions
  • Turn in and track support tickets and responses. Work with support staff at HCHB, WV, Doc Alliance, Inovalon.
  • Update tables (service codes, payors, clinical tables, physicians, supplies, facilities, etc), system settings, workflow, dashboards, roll out/set up and implementation of new branches/providers
  • Set up and troubleshoot issues with interfaces including medicare electronic auto eligibilities, SHP, Worldview, Medline, One Point Hospice Claims Meds, Clinical Information Exchange, Element 5, Inovalon, Online Learning Hub, Medalogix, Log Shipping, AI.
  • Read through release notes, notify workers of updates, make changes to settings, implement new features
  • Set up new user logins and rights, contact support to enable/disable logins, reset passwords, set up and edit worker templates
  • Set up users and subscriptions for emailed dashboards
  • Set up and disable worker's rights and logins, troubleshoot issues, contact support, set up new branches, look up supplies in medline and set up new supplies in HCHB supply tables
  • Set up and disable worker's rights and logins, troubleshoot issues, contact support, set up new branches, keep training resources current on sharepoint
  • Set up and disable worker's rights and logins, troubleshoot issues, contact support, set up new branches
  • Set up new branches for surveys and claims data
  • Edit worker templates for promisepoint/OLH rights, troubleshoot issues, add/edit worker assigned OLH courses, contact support
  • Set up and edit logins for providerlink, troubleshoot issues, contact support
  • Monthly HCHB meetings with Incident Manager (support tickets, PRBs) and System Administrator (system settings, processes), and quarterly meetings with Business Manager (Analytics, KPIs).
  • Run pecos export and inactivate physicians or update physician names for NPI/name discrepancies

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

College Degree required. Must have at least 5 years of experience in Medicare or commercial health insurance billing or finance or an associate's degree in related health/financial field. Prefer HCHB experience. Must possess strong knowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word and Excel and minor office machines such as faxes and copiers. Must be able to function independently & make independent decisions as well as deal tactfully and cheerfully with residents, family members, visitors, and personnel.
