Mammoth Sports Construction is currently seeking a Landscape Designer to join our team. The Landscape Designer position would be responsible for creating and designing outdoor spaces that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable. This position will work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, develop plans, design concepts, and oversee the implementation of a variety of projects.
ESSTENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consult with clients, contractors, engineers, and architects to determine project requirements and goals.
Develop design concepts and plans using landscape design software.
Create detailed drawings of landscape designs, including measurements, materials, and cost estimates.
Inspect and/or oversee the construction and installation of landscape to make sure it adheres to the design.
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that the design meets environmental and regulatory requirements.
Choose products and materials that are appropriate for the site, which will meet the client’s preferences and budget.
Provide oversite with ongoing maintenance and support to clients after the project is complete.
Work with crew(s) to construct landscape design and landscape installation.
Design and specify planting material appropriate to project region.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Ability to work outdoors, in greenhouses, nurseries and other outdoor settings.
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 49lbs independently
Bachelor's degree in landscape design, horticulture, or related field
Professional certification, such as from the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (preferred)
Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant materials, and irrigation systems
Knowledge in landscape design software, such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
