A little about this position: The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise servers. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration and server operating systems. Manages server maintenance schedules and hardware replacement schedules. Manages virtual server infrastructure. Manages storage area networks and data center infrastructure. Manages Avaya and Nortel phone systems. Requirements: College level study in Information Systems related fields and 5-7 years of IT Systems experience. Good communication and documentation skills. In depth knowledge of Windows Server Environments, Virtual Server Environments (VMWare). Experience with Storage Area Networks, Exchange Email Systems, Cisco Network Hardware. Knowledge of tools used to configure and monitor IT environments including SCCM and SCOM.
