We are immediately hiring for a Lead Teacher with at least 1 year of prior experience in role. We are also willing to accept candidates that have 90hr Preschool Certificate. ADA Certification is a must with this position. Ideal candidate will have experience with Preschool. If you are passionate about the teaching field this position is for you. Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool children.
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive interactions.
- Develop and maintain daily schedules and routines to ensure a structured and organized learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to promote open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Monitor student progress and assess learning outcomes through observation, assessment tools, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
- Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, inclusivity, and a love for learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Associate's degree or relevant certifications will be considered.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of child development theories, instructional strategies, and best practices in early childhood education.
