Malouf Companies is Hiring a Product Manager Near Logan, UT

We are seeking a candidate with experience in global sourcing and development of sleep products to join our Research & Development team. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of international processes, product data management, and communication best practices is also desired.This is a full-time M-F position working in our office. Part-time or remote positions are not available for this role.Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess current and new global vendors for their capabilities.
  • Spearhead development initiatives for both online and retail markets.
  • Advise vendors on product details and requirements using tech packs and prototype sampling.
  • Monitor milestones and ship date objectives, then collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for timely delivery.
  • Inspect pre- and post-production samples to ensure consistency with specifications and quality.
  • Manage product lifecycles and implement improvements to existing product assortment to add features, negotiate costs, and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for your product category to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activity for product viability and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure current and new assortment meets the companies strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in sourcing or product development preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of developing long-term supplier partner relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to organize and process information effectively.
  • Potential travel required, up to 10-15 days of the year.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Flexibility in a dynamic development environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to analyze large sales data sets and make recommendations for the product.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with lean/agile processes and rapid development iteration.
