The Job

You will be responsible for overseeing the quality and quantity of total production in a Manufacturing Production Department (Offset Printing) and ensuring work crew is working efficiently and safely.

The Successful Candidate will:

• Ensure that production schedules and quality requirements are achieved safely and efficiently and to the satisfaction of customers. ·
• Ensuring that machines operate effectively and efficiently. ·
• Assist the manager in the supervision of all preventative maintenance activities throughout the department. ·
• Actively supervise all waste disposal and waste reporting activities by all finishing department associates throughout the shift. ·
• Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety, food safety, OSHA, personnel issues etc., and coach and train associates to provide a safe, secure working environment that meets the company’s goals and achieves customer satisfaction. ·
• Serve as acting department supervisor when the manager is away from the plant, including attending factory order meetings, new business meetings, and house order meetings; and completing UKG timecards.
• Participate in various committees and programs to ensure the safety of associates and the quality of customer orders.

This is a 2nd Shift position (3pm to 11pm)

Skills and Experience:

• 4 years of operating a sheet fed printing press, Koenig & Bauer experience preferred
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
