LIFE AS A SHIPPING/RECEIVING ASSOCIATE
Malin's Shipping & Receiving Associate are an integral part of our parts operation. The successful person in this role will be an energetic self-starter with the ability to see when things need to be done and foresee any issues that may arise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Ships and receives parts and materials
* Maintains accurate stock records so inventories are current, accurate, properly labeled and located.
* Processes all internal/external customer order with accuracy and in a timely manner.
* Performs all receiving requirements, including proper routing of associated paperwork.
* Restocks all products accurately in a timely manner (weekly stock orders and daily transfers).
* Pulls orders for both internal and external customers.
* Maintains consumable stock and document usage.
* Processes all internal rebuild part orders.

*Press tires for customers and stock.

* Occasional parts delivery to customers.

* Operate forklift safely.

* Customer service for all walk-in customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
* One or more years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Knowledgeable in safety standards and proper personal protection equipment usage within a distribution or warehouse area

* Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Hardworking and energetic

Language & Communication Skills
* Ability to read and interpret customer communications and common documents;
* Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal customers

Physical Requirements
Climbing, stopping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pound of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performing mechanical or skilled trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature. Subjected to inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils, atmospheric conditions and a variety of physical activities such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
