Malcolm Cunningham Chevrolet North Point is Hiring an Automotive Driveability Technician Near Alpharetta, GA

Automotive Technician

Duties:

- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, fuel and electrical concerns.
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and installations.
- Conduct automotive service inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize automotive schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and maintenance performed on vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair recommendations.

Skills:

- Proficient in using power tools and equipment commonly used in automotive repair.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software for accurate cost estimation.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting automotive schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
