Maksteel Processing powered by UPG is looking to fill a Slitter Set Up position. Maksteel Processing is looking for a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. We strive to build strong relationships with our customers by providing high level of service, value-add opportunities, and professionalism in all interactions, allowing us to become a valued member of their supply chain and production teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Setup overarm on recoiler according to work order
• Setup slitter for accurate slitting according to work order
• Setup for burr free slitting
• Change slitter heads for job change over

Position Requirements

• Past slitting experience
• General computer knowledge
• Past experience in steel warehousing
• Ability to operate a forklift as needed
• Ability to read tape measure, micrometer, and caliper
