As a nonprofit organization dedicated to enabling individuals with IDD to achieve their aspirations for a fulfilling life, Makom is seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to fill this vital role. Reporting to the Director of Fun, Faith and Experience, you will serve as the bridge between our community and those exploring Makom for support, guiding them through the enrollment process with care and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for all inquiries and referrals, offering compassionate assistance and guidance.
• Collaborate with program leaders to organize and facilitate referral/assessment meetings.
• Support recruitment efforts for Makom programs, aligning with our strategic goals and community needs.
• Work closely with the Development team to craft and implement effective marketing strategies.
• Coordinate with program leadership to ensure smooth operation of essential systems and software.
• Oversee the collection and review of required documents for prospective applicants.
• Maintain interest lists and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead community outreach initiatives to expand our reach and impact.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local entities to enhance referral opportunities.

To be Makom's next Interest and Enrollment Coordinator, you will need:

• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Technical proficiency in service plan development and billing functions.
• Ability to effectively train and educate individuals at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications & computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and reference checks.
