ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages the team of Treasury Management Client Service Specialists
• Provides an outstanding Client Experience to Salem Five customers and prospects.
• Directs and oversees all training and client onboarding activities.
• Responsible for appropriately documenting all TM product and departmental standard operating procedures; designing appropriate materials, training staff and ensuring appropriate controls.
• Accountability for audits related to all Treasury Management products, department audits, and other divisional audits as requested; coordinating, preparing and responding to all audit requests; conforming to all audit standards and compliance requirements.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Salem Five’s digital technology offerings.
• Proficiency with trouble shooting technical issues related to various TM products, to include various file formats, browser and firewall challenges, etc.
• Expert at understanding & implementing NACHA rules and guidelines.
• Administer IOLTA and Bankruptcy account programs.
• Oversees all aspects of department’s vendor oversight and vendor management programs.
• Complete projects and reports for Management as directed.
• Proficient utilizing desktop applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Exchange), mobile smart phones and downloading applications and utilization of the Internet (mobile and desktop) to search and locate information.
• Embrace new and emerging technologies to support operations and customers through flexibility and the ability to learn and adapt to change.
• Perform other critical departmental tasks, as needed, in a backup position in a cross-trained environment.
• Demonstrates compliance with banking business laws and regulations as defined in company policies and procedures pertinent to the position.
• Regular attendance is essential to this position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly manages the Treasury Management Client Support team and provides general leadership and management support for Treasury and Operations Analysts. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or 10 years of experience in banking with an emphasis on the areas of Treasury Management, Client Service, Product Management and/or Compliance/Risk. AAP and/or CTP certification preferred.
