Majority Builders is a 100% employee-owned Design-Build Firm & General Contractor serving the Michiana Region for 50 years. We are growing our Design-Build team of collaborative, innovative, and dedicated professionals.
We're seeking a motivated and experienced drafting professional to join our active and dynamic culture. Positions are designed to be fun and provide a flexible work environment to meet professional development and individual needs.
Team members are expected to be eager to learn and take on new challenges with each opportunity. They will be involved hands-on with all civil aspects of a project, including civil design and collaborating with project estimators. An ideal candidate would have 1 to 3 years of civil drafting experience (our work includes industrial, office, healthcare, restaurants, mixed-use, retail, residential, education, and civil).
Description:
- Strong drafting skills with experience working directly with senior associates.
- Collaborate and coordinate design with project estimators.
- Ability to work on multiple projects of all sizes and complexity.
- Experience developing a set of design development civil drawings under the direction of senior associates.
- Demonstrates understanding of the relationship between design and constructability.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with vendors, in-house architects, consultants, and engineers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD & AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience with Revit would be beneficial but not required.
- Applicants must be enthusiastic about civil design and construction.
- Civil Engineering or Civil Technology-related degree or associates degree.
- Experienced candidates and graduate students are welcome to apply.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to pursue new business opportunities and promote Design-Build services.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
