Are you someone that likes variety and consistency each day, this role is for you! You will split your day up as a Driver (San Carlos location) and a Front Team Associate (at a boutique of your choice).

Key responsibilities: The Driver & Front Team Associate will support our San Carlos site and our two Boutiques in Mountain View & Burlingame. He/She will be responsible to ensure smooth, high quality operations activities at each site & between the two sites, service to support our Pastry teams & front of the house teams. Shift typically will start at 6:00 AM from San Carlos (Driving license required). Once complete with deliveries you will then transition to support one of the Boutiques. See below for more details.

Driver Responsibilities - between 6:00-8:00 AM.

• Ensure transportation using Maison Alyzee van between our two locations ensuring safe & smooth transport of our cakes & other pastries & breads
• Execute swiftly with the highest quality standard all operations required to operation all logistics operations.
• Support the management & control of our non food inventories

Front Team Associate Responsibilities - transition then to support Boutique from either 8:00-12:00 PM or 8:00-2:00 PM.

• Customer Service : provide the best customer service in a courteous, fast and efficient manner. Accommodate all requests and special needs for guests and clients. Know how to engage with customers efficiently and act as the ambassador of Maison Alyzee. Provide all our customers with a unique experience visiting our Boutique.
• Take & Prepare orders: a large variety of individual cakes, viennoiseries (croissants,...), breads and savory menu items and larger desserts/cakes. To Go & On Site. Prepare DoorDash or other vendors orders in an accurate manner.
• Prepare all pre orders: prior to opening, ensure pastries and desserts are ready or prepared, and pack in advance for with quality and accuracy in mind
• Drinks: Full coffee menus, teas, our famous hot chocolates, ..
• Leadership: Take initiatives, Keep all your senses active and maintain constant impeccable cleanness inside and on our patio & terrace.
• Collaborate : Enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork and take advantage of opportunities to broaden your scope of work: From the terrace to the back of the house: Help or lead inventory management or take ownership !
• Safety : Maintain a clean and organized workspace . Follow all safety and sanitation procedures within set guidelines from OSHA, HACCP and Department of Public Health and Risk Management – and ensure your team is following guidelines as well other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with from retail food retail, coffee shop is a plus but not mandatory; Reliability, common sense, friendly & positive attitude, savory cooking skills is a strong plus.

Basic problem-solving skills and ability to multi-taskSense of urgency and ability to work within a safe manner

• Ability to follow all company policies in areas of attendance, safety, sanitation and safe food handling. The Front of the House team will also remains in close daily contact with our Pastry Chefs' team.About You:

Job Requirements

• Ability to start early in the day : 06:00 am including working weekends and holidays
• Driving skills with the highest level of care and attention for your self and other.
• Manage all logistics operations of Maison Alyzee
• Lead the function, develop new ideas
• Evaluates and reacts to performance issues fairly and consistently in accordance with our expected practices
• Actively establishes open, candid and trusting professional relationships with their team members
• Maintains a high degree of personal integrity and inspires a team with the same values
• Ability to support all maintenance & cleaning aspects on down time
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. (Required)

Qualifications

• A min. of 1 to 2 years experience in the similar field is highly preferable
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage and inspire

• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word. Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
• CA Driving license
