MaintenX International is a fully licensed, general contracting company with a focus on total facility maintenance and repair. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Door Technician to join our service team.
As a Commercial Door Technician, you will install and service Commercial Hollow Metal, Wood and Laminate Doors and Manual Door Hardware.
- Install Commercial Hollow Metal, Wood and Laminate Doors
- Install Commercial Door Hardware
- Respond to client requests for door service
- Understanding and experience with Pivot hinges/Continuous hinges/Push Bars/Concealed door closers
- Evaluate and diagnose door problems
- Repair commercial manual doors
- Familiar with repairing and installing commercial store front doors
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- Perform inspections
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years’ experience in commercial door, store repairs
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and DMV check
- Ability to work on-call and overtime hours as needed – we are a 24/7 maintenance facility
- Basic hand tools needed to perform general repair work (screwdriver, wrench, etc.)
- Familiar with and can use smart phones and tablets
