This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.

The Physical Therapy Aide/Secretary in Pediatrics provides clinical support to the Pediatric Physical therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech therapy providers. Assists with scheduling, reception, insurance authorization, and office duties as needed.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. 1. Education: High School Diploma required.
   2. License/Certifications: N/A
   3. Experience: A minimum of one year's prior secretarial/receptionist experience in a setting where responsibilities included multiple tasks.
   4. Excellent and respectful communication skills are essential.
   5. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
   6. Respect for people with special needs.
   7. Demonstrates proficiency in:
      • computer skills: Word, basic Excel, Meditech and Outlook
      • office equipment: Fax and copy machine, typewriter, telephones
      • office functions: filing, mailings
      • Phone and email etiquette
   8. Maintains a safe environment: Processes maintenance requisitions as needed, maintains the waiting area as needed.
