WCMP Donald S. Walker Health Center | MaineHealth is searching for a Patient Service Representative. This person serves as the first point of contact for patients when they enter our office. They greet and check-in patients, get patient information, collect payments, assist with necessary paperwork, and fulfill other customer service or administrative duties. We are looking for candidates with strong communication and administrative skills, a positive attitude, and a proven track record of reliability to support this busy and growing practice and contribute to the team.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. 1. Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
   2. License/Certifications: N/A
   3. Experience: Six months to one year medical office related experience and/or training preferred.
   4. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
   5. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
   6. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
