Position Summary:
The Director of Care Team Wellness is responsible for oversight of care team member (staff) wellbeing activities across the MaineHealth system to include: programmatic development and leadership, implementation of strategic vision and direction in collaboration with the Chief Wellness Officer and in alignment with programmatic wellness resources offered through Human Resources. The Director of Care Team Wellness collaborates closely with stakeholders throughout the MH system that are tasked with care team wellbeing activities to ensure standardization and availability of resources across the system.
Essential Functions:

Provides leadership and oversight of care team wellbeing activities across the MaineHealth system; such as:

The development, dissemination, and oversight of care team wellbeing interventions and programs.

The development, dissemination, and oversight of care team wellbeing educational and outreach materials.

Identification of intensive intervention services for care team members.

Analyzes available data from organizational assessment and other relevant sources to inform program development.

Collaborates with key stakeholders across the system to ensure care team wellbeing activities enhance and maximize related organizational strategic initiatives.

Responsible for budgetary and fiscal management of associated programs and activities.

Ensures activities are ethical, evidence-based, and culturally- and trauma-responsive, are respectful of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and are appropriately tailored to specific needs within a culture of wellbeing, practice efficiency and individual resilience of care team members.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Education: Master’s Degree in related field.
2. License/Certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Physician or registered nurse with mental health clinical expertise preferred.
3. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience and a preferred five (5) years of experience in program development and oversight.
4. Knowledge of mental wellbeing interventions, programs, and services and ability to integrate these in collaboration with care team members, and identified supports, in ways that will maximize care team member health and wellbeing.
5. Expert knowledge of current, local intervention and treatment services that improve and support mental wellbeing.
6. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clinical needs, respond timely and effectively to referrals, and coordinate additional resources as needed.
8. Ability to analyze multiple data sources in order to inform decisions.
9. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement short-and long-term strategic objectives; motivate and develop staff; and cultivate strong collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders.
10. Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed care, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
11. Excellent computer skills, including a demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
12. Demonstrated skills in budgetary and financial management.
